We’re over halfway through the working week (unless you work bank holidays in which case “been there, done that, you have my sympathy”). Celebrate with these very non-Easter related tracks…
Alien Ken – “Dualstar”
Alien Ken are an act we’ve covered in the past but not heard from in too long. They’re back with a new album, Change is Constant, which you can grab via Spotify, iTunes or Big Cartel. Sample their hi-tempo hard rock below.
Cabin Boy Jumped Ship – “Replace The Hate”
Leicestershire electronic metalcore outfit Cabin Boy Jumped Ship have released a storming new video for single “Replace The Hate”. The track features a guest vocal from James Harrison of Oceans Ate Alaska. Not only that but Cabin Boy Jumped Ship will be donating all profits from the single to anti-bullying charity Ditch The Label. Their new EPÂ Pathways is out on May 20th, and they’re playing quite a few dates up and down the UK in June/July.
Belvedere – “Hairline”
In case you still need something to make you bounce, skate punk legends Belvedere have a new album ready to explode. The Revenge of the Fifth is out on May 5th, and in the meantime wrap your ears around “Hairline”.
Graveyard Johnnys – “Ready To Roll”
Rounding off with something more close to classic punk, The Graveyard Johnnys are back with with a slew of European live dates still in support of recent release Dead Transmission. To celebrate they’ve compiled a load of live clips from the last 12 months and spliced them into this video.
