Tigertailz, the unstoppable Welsh glam rock band who seem to think it’s still the 80’s (yay!), have a new album out in April. The first track from Blast is “Pipped It Popped It” which the band forwarded as an entry for this year’s Eurovision.
(Un)fortunately (delete as appropriate based on your opinion of the competition), the entry was rejected at the first hurdle. As a result, someone’s started up one of those Change.org petitions which currently has 194 signatures. Now, I’m not going to tell you to sign it. But have a listen to the track below and – if you reckon it’s better than the utter shite we’ve submitted for the last… hell, since Bucks Fizz won – then maybe it’s worth making a fuss on the off-chance they get another go.
If Finland can enter demons and disabled punks then why can’t we have a band of aging rockers wearing glittery pink spandex? Eh? Why not?
