Primal Fear release first single “The End is Near” from upcoming album Rulebreaker

LaraThe German power/speed metal band Primal Fear have released a first single from their forthcoming new album Rulebreaker, which will be released on the 22nd January 2016 on Frontiers Records.

Available on CD, deluxe CD/DVD, LP and a special super-limited LP edition version featuring an eagle’s head on the vinyl.

Singer Ralf Scheepers says:

“We have so much energy, fantastic melodies and a hell of a drum groove on each and every song, there is no doubt that our fans will love it as much as we do! And once again we have achieved a combination of bombastic and atmospheric orchestral sounds with soaring heavy metal riffs and licks, together with ear splitting screams and emotional sequences. We have kept the promise of being a heavy metal band with all the trademark sounds that one would expect from Primal Fear“.

Following the massive ‘Delivering The Black’ world tour, Primal Fear began songwriting sessions for the new record in spring 2015 before recording at Hansen Studios in Denmark with producer Mat Sinner and engineer Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Pretty Maids, Amaranthe).Primal Fear

Mat Sinner adds:

“We learnt a lot during the ‘Delivering The Black’ sessions and ensuing world tour. We tried to put all this know-how and positive energy into the songs and production of Rulebreaker. Working for the second time with Jacob and even recording in his studio gave another dimension to our sound, plus the recording comeback of founding member Tom Naumann was the right move.”

Primal Fear Rulebreaker

Classic and ultra-fresh Primal Fear riff-rockers like the album opener “Angels Of Mercy” and the groove monsters “The End Is Near” and “Bullets And Tears” hit the bulls-eye from the very beginning, just like the untamed speed killer ‘In Metal We Trust’ and the metal anthem and title track Rulebreaker. The melodic
and unique ballad “The Sky Is Burning” displays a different side to Primal Fear with a new vibe and a
monster chorus. And, of course, the band have once again added an 11-minute plus Prog Metal tour de
force entitled “We Walk Without Fear”, spiced with big orchestral arrangements and complex sound design.

Primal Fear are about to release what is definitely their strongest album ever in Rulebreaker.

Don’t miss Primal Fear on their worldwide tour in 2016!
