Metal 2 The Masses London returned to The Unicorn in Camden on Sunday 15th November with four more self-signed and unsigned bands battling it out for the opportunity to play at Bloodstock Open Air Festival; the UK’s biggest independent metal festival. Competing this week were Estranger (experimental / math-rock / post-metal), HAWXX (hard rock / metal), Kesagake (theatrical hardcore / nu-metal) and Preachers of Distortion (rock n’ roll).
After all four bands played their sets, there was a Christmas singing contest, where each person has to sing a verse from a Christmas song of their choice (not Wham!…because of “Whamageddon”). Congratulations to Ben who won the competition and was presented with a £100 tattoo voucher from Fortitude Ink.
The winners of this heat of the Metal 2 The Masses competition were announced as HAWXX and Estranger – huge congratulations to both bands.
M2TM London is back at The Unicorn on 5 January 2020 as four more bands battle for the chance to play Bloodstock festival 2019. Get all the details here.
