Recently featured as our Band of the Day, Katie went to check out Polish metal band Materia at The Lounge in deepest, darkest North London on Sunday night.

It is with our deepest apologies that Krysthla have to announce that sadly we find ourselves unable to play the scheduled shows in either Northampton or London this weekend. Adi has been ill this week and following last night’s show in Aylesbury he has completely lost his voice. He has sought urgent medical advice and has been diagnosed with both throat and chest infections. He has been prescribed antibiotics and told to rest his voice for at least 2 weeks.
This was my first time seeing Materia live and they put on a great show; some really heavy, driving riffs together with technical guitar work. Their performance certainly went down well with the crowd who were jumping and dancing all over the place!
