Freshly formed in the putrid petri dish of a disease ridden world, Mutagenic Host are intent of spreading their vile soundscapes to the general public with debut, The Genotoxic Demo.
The opener to this demo “Mutagen” serves an introduction with the unmistakable and unnerving Omen III samples which only adds to brutal and maniacal nature of “March of Pestilence” which gives the listener the first real taste of the bands callousness.
Purely for it’s utter contempt and it’s slow purposeful pace which opens up into pure unrelenting fury it should come as no surprise that “Enforced Bodily Terror” is my highlight track of the entire demo, but then immediately the following up “Hive Unintelligence” fires into the speakers which is so wonderfully paired that the combination of these two is my favourite section all together.
The demo concludes with the blood curling “Metaphysical Maladies” which is very much in keeping with the rest of this skull smashing output
Chaotically carved into ear melting chunks.
