Out today, Six Feet Deeper’s “Don’t Stop Now” is the first single from the band’s upcoming July 4th album Prayer by the Edge. The single can be exclusively purchased from Lion Music’s WAV Download store, or you can enjoy the video at YouTube (scroll down for that).
Formed in early 2017, Six Feet Deeper saw members from the bands Killroy Brown, Structural Disorder and Leaving Asgaard come together in order to play music together.
The very first two rehearsals were just basically jam sessions featuring covers by bands such as The Winery Dogs, Led Zeppelin, King Crimson, Hellacopters and Audioslave – but, by the third rehearsal original material started surfacing and the band decided to book a gig and see where things went. Needless to say, things went very well!
The band quickly got “the ball rolling” and started writing enough material to make up an EP, which was recorded at Studio Underjord in Norrköping in June of 2017. The self titled EP was released late August the same year, and along with it came gigs at various venues and festivals.
In April 2018, the band entered BMP Studios in Stockholm and recorded two tracks, which ended up being the single “You And Your Hand”, which was released in early July that same year. Along with gigging extensively (and, among many things, supporting the bands Thunderpussy and Badflower), the band started planning their debut full length album in August 2018 and then entered the studio in September to begin the recordings.
After a few years on the low-down, Six Feet Deeper are once again ready to take the world and bring their electrifying live show wherever they get asked to play!
