Becomes Astral – “The Glass Lake”
To celebrate the release of Paleblood Sky, Becomes Astral partnered with Decibel Magazine today for the world premiere of the official music video for the opening track, “The Glass Lake,” a song that begins with a joyous sound then quickly turns on it’s head to show you the instability we all feel in everyday life. “The Glass Lake” is a term coined by an eccentric acquaintance of the vocalist, Cam Sherer. He used this term to describe the downfall of humanity saying it’s only a matter of time before we hit ‘the glass lake.’
Fleshkiller – “Warfare”
Fleshkiller is finally out with their highly anticipated second single & music video “Warfare”! Ole Børud comments on the single:
“Warfare” is one of the most intense songs on the album with an old school thrash/death inspired beat that lends itself perfectly to some headbanging! Lyrically this song speaks about how humankind’s history of warfare ultimately leads to death and destruction and that we need to seek a better way. The video displays the band in an intimate live setting with lots of energy and intensity.
And So I Watch Your From Afar – “A Slow Unfolding of Wings”
Today, Northern Irish rock band And So I Watch You From Afar have announced their return with their new forthcoming album The Endless Shimmering. This will be the eclectic quartet’s fifth full length album following on from their widely acclaimed album Heirs. Alongside the announcement of their new album. the band have also premiered a new video for the first single from the album entitled “A Slow Unfolding Of Wings” with DIY.
Sons of Texas – “Beneath the Riverbed”
Following two years of touring behind their debut album, Baptized in the Rio Grande, Sons of Texas returned to the studio earlier this year with producer Josh Wilbur to record their follow up. The result is the 11 song CD Forged by Fortitude, set for a September 22nd release with Spinefarm. To give a taste of what’s to come, a new video for Beneath The Riverbed has been revealed today.
