This one deserves a quick post. Heavy Metal Truants is a bike ride from London to Donington undertaken by member of metal bands, other industry folk and fans.
The aim is to raise cash for Childline, Teenage Cancer Trust and Nordoff Robbins. All great causes.
Founded and led by Rod Smallwood (Iron Maiden’s manager) and Alexander Milas (Metal Hammer supremo), this years ride had quite the cast. Watch the video, have a laugh, be impressed and donate a few bob.
