We are stupidly proud to be giving you the chance to scoop up a pair of tickets to this year’s WinterStorm even in Troon! Huge thanks to the organisers for letting us in on this little compo. If you’re not up for waiting to see if you’ve won, then you can just buy tickets via Skiddle from which we (for complete transparency) get a minor kickback. Not that we need such a thing to tell you how good the festival is.
Troon itself is lovely and a great place for a long weekend away, and the lineup this year is as strong as it’s ever been. An absolute classic/hard rock fan’s dream, there’s the Bernie Marsden tribute, the Quireboys (with a new album imminent they’re bound to play some news ones), HEAT, Martin Barre from Jethro Tull, Von Hertzen Brothers, Renegade, The Damn Truth, South of Salem (those guys are everywhere at the moments!), Cherie Curry and loads more.
And that’s just the main stage. The session stage includes acts like The Shape of Water (who we saw at SOS Fest in 2023), Amongst Liars, Those Made Broken, Black Lakes (who rocked the Sophie stage at Bloodstock this year), Silver Dollar Room… loads of acts (and many more) who we’ve featured on these very pages in the past.
