The dust has barely settled and the mud is still moist from 2024’s festival season, however, Call of the Wild have been working hard to secure the line up for 2025.
Returning for its fifth anniversary celebrations in 2025, Call of the Wild has been lucky enough to be shortlisted in UK Festival Awards in 2019, 2022 & 2023. This year, like every year is special and what a line up they have in store for you, something bold, something new, something familiar and everything with you, the fans at the forefront of their minds. Like every year they live by their mantra of “We dare to be different”.
As previously announced, Lincoln’s very own Knock Out Kaine will be performing an exclusive set with their original line-up. Continuing with another exclusive for Call Of The Wild 2025, we’ve got the return of Falling Red. After the tragic passing of bassist Mikey Lawless the guys have decided now is the time to take to the stage and we are honoured to have them onboard.

Now to the headline bands! The Commoners are Friday’s headline band, hailing from Toronto, Canada, the four piece will be bringing a taste of Southern, whisky-soaked swagger to Lincolnshire. The festival comments:
We are absolutely screaming from our whisky bottles about this band and their rock and roll, blues and soul, their latest album Restless is a cracker!
Headlining on Sunday is a true legend, he’s the Sultan of Scandinavian sleaze, the Sovereign of the sax, he fronted Hanoi Rocks, Demolition 23, Jerusalem Slim. His latest album I Live Too Fast To Die Young sums him up perfectly, ladies and gentlemen Finland’s sleaziest export: Michael Monroe.
Festival director Raz White had this to say:
It nearly happened in 2020 but we all know what became of that year… I thought I had missed my opportunity to book one of my personal favourite artists, someone who has been incredibly influential and inspiring throughout my life since I was 14 years old and a friend lent me his Two Steps From The Move cassette. Spending my earlier years in love with punk music and only just crossing over into the depths of hard rock and metal, Hanoi Rocks not only ticked a box… they blew every other box off the page. Five years on from 2020 and I can now confirm that Michael Monroe will headline Sunday night at Call of the Wild Festival 2025. This is an absolute dream come true for me to get this done.
2024 was without a doubt our best CotW to date. So many things fell into place and the atmosphere was amazing. We perhaps challenged our audience a little more than usual but by all accounts it was received well by most. And that’s the thing about CotW. We will never settle for just alright or that should keep them happy. I, along with the other directors and onsite team, want you to be blown away by something different every year.
We are thrilled to have The Commoners headline Friday night because we’ve seen so much potential in this band and, boy, is it coming to fruition now. Recently absolutely smashing it at Maid of Stone, we feel immensely honoured to have them with us at Lincolnshire Showground.
“CotW is nothing without its boisterous slab of Scandinavian rock. Yes, my penchant for Scandinavian rock is firmly rooted by my love of Hanoi Rocks and followed by SMACK, Backyard Babies…. and so on. So, it gives me great pleasure to have Trench Dogs (who headline Sunday Southall Lawless stage) and the glitzy Suicide Bombers.
