We’re on the home stretch now for Rocktoberfest announcements! Four bands announced and this makes our fifth which means there’s only two bands left to tell you about (but we’ll give you some more information on that later) now that we’re delighted to say The Guns For Hire will be joining us on 19th October at Ivory Blacks.
Recommended to us by our friends at Watermelon Promotions, it’s easy to see why they jumped at the chance to put them on our radar. Only together for two and a half years, it sounds like they’ve been doing it for ten times as long!

The heavy metallers cite a number of classic and modern influences for something which will appeal to metalheads across the spectrum (though maybe not if you’re into your really dark and depraved death and black metal) and given the energy they’ve got in their performances, we think we’ve got them placed at exactly the right spot on the bill. Chances are you’ve maybe seen them in Scotland’s Metal 2 the Masses where they shared a semi-final gig with fellow Rocktoberfest participants The Breathing Method. So needless to say, we’re keeping it in the family!
