A nice chap called Mike got in touch recently to tell us about an event that he’s helping to put together in North Yorkshire next year. The Tanking has a nice diverse lineup, comes from a wealth of experience in terms of putting on live shows and tickets are available now.
Featuring across the two days (Fri 23 and Sat 24 April) are headliners Ricky Warwick and Acid Reign. They are supported by a, frankly, salivating lineup. Check it out below. Mike tells us the following about Tanking Club:
The Tanking club has access to a secured location close to Scotch Corner / Darlington / Croft Race circuit in the North of England.
The venue is privately owned and consists of an amazing indoor barn space, an outdoor stage and courtyard good for a crowd around 250-300 people, with in-house sound and lighting provided by Mainline Show Productions Ltd. The Tanking is a DIY, family run heavy metal and rock membership club, not a festival, and does not come with a heavy backer such as Live Nation. Every member contributes towards each event and we have a capacity of only 300 for each weekender we run.
Tickets are now available via their website, with day tickets being decided upon closer to the date once social distancing and so forth can be taken into account based on the rules nearer the time. You’re looking at £60 for the weekend (£75 including camping, £95 including a campervan hookup – 4 left when I just checked!) plus a small booking fee which isn’t bad at all for the lineup on offer…
Mike has also asked us to add:
In the event of the weekend being cancelled last minute due to local legislation out of our control, the ticket price shall be refunded less the small booking fee. Feel free to email if you have questions or join our mailing list via the website.
