What started off as a dream is now starting to come to fruition for Chris Heap and his team. June 8th – 9th will see more than twenty local and UK bands hit the stage with the aim of the Heaps of Metal festival to raise awareness of the charity CALM. CALM are the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) and are leading a movement against suicide, the single biggest killer of men under the age of 45 in the UK. With all acts confirmed to play and tickets now on sale, it would be crazy to miss this festival showcasing the talent that is right on our doorstep here in the UK. With prices set ÂŁ13 for the Saturday, ÂŁ11 for the Sunday and ÂŁ20 for the weekend all for 20 kick ass bands, you can’t miss this opportunity to support each band as well as this charity.
There will be stalls for merchandise, metal jewellery and food stalls amongst other things, so there is everything you can ever need. Oh, and since the festival is in a bar, there will be beer as well. The amount of tickets available for each day is 150, so you have to act fast and don’t miss out on what is sure to be a cracking weekend with Saturday headliners being Shrapnel and Sunday headliners Tormenta. Rest assured though, there is plenty for everybody to get their teeth into and The Moshville Times will be there to see every single one of them.
Saturday June 8th Line up (in no particular order):
