Three of the UK’s most exciting up-and-coming bands will take the stage at the Heavy Music Awards 2018 Launch Event at Gorilla, Manchester on Wednesday 25 April.
Milestones, Loathe and Cold Years will perform on the night alongside the live announcement of the HMA18 finalists, which will signal the opening of the public vote following nominations from several hundred individuals from right across the heavy music spectrum.
Manchester’s very own Milestones recently released their debut album Red Lights on Fearless Records to critical acclaim, while enigmatic Liverpool metallers Loathe have been lighting up the underground on tour with Holding Absence, with whom they released the As One split EP in February. Aberdeen’s Cold Years will open up the night following a headline tour of Germany in support of their brand new EP Northern Blue.
