Following a flood of summer festival announcements, Rebellion Festival, Blackpool’s own annual hub of all things punk has added post-punk pioneers Public Image Limited (PiL), young US punk-blood The Menzingers, fellow american heritage act The Vandals as well as the following bands:

- Riot Squad
- Headsticks
- Argotoxico
- Top Dog
- Red Eyes
On their addition to the Rebellion lineup, Menzingers vocalist Tom May says:
A couple of pints by the shore in a Stephen King-esque British ocean town swarming with generations of punks filing in and out all weekend to a soundtrack of living legends? Sign me the fuck up.
In covering all eras of punk, Rebellion Festival has already booked acts such as Stiff Little Fingers, Buzzcocks, The Exploited, Discharge, UK Subs, The Wildhearts, D.R.I., The Adolescents, Toxic Reasons and Raw Power alongside 200 other bands and acts.
Rebellion Festival is an all ages, family friendly event taking place from the 2nd to the 5th of August, Wintergardens, Blackpool. Children under 12 are admitted free of charge (accompanied by an adult). Check out their official page for more info.
