Two of Glasgow’s finest purveyors of doom-tinged music, FVNERALS and First Temple Of The Atom, are embarking on a tour of the UK and France this month.
Based in Glasgow, FVNERALS are a band that exist on the fringes of doom, post-rock, shoegaze and dark ambience. In the tradition of Earth, and contemporaries such as True Widow and King Woman, FVNERALS meticulously meld soundscapes both ethereal and oppressive. Â FVNERALS’ second album Wounds was released in October 2016 through The Native Sound (USA) and Golden Antenna Records (EU).
Formed in Glasgow in 2016, First Temple Of The Atom’s music depicts a struggle to remain sane and hold on to reason in a world of accelerating fragmentation and cruelty.  Their music is a synthesis of post, black and doom metals, with nods to renaissance-era chorale music and baroque tonality.
