This year’s Slam Dunk has probably the best line-up they’ve put together… ever. And one two of the dates are already sold out!
Travelling to hit Birmingham, Leeds (sold out as of last night) and the sold out Hatfield Forum, there is an incredible number of bands crammed into a day’s entertainment across eight stages in each location.
Top pick for yours truly would be the Fireball stage, headlined by Bowling For Soup and compéred by MC Lars. Amongst the other acts on show are Zebrahead, Goldfinger and Reel Big Fish.
I can see Pit Troll going a little bit mental at the Impericon stage, playing host as it is to Memphis May Fire, Madina Lake, I Prevail, Ice Nine Kills… though he’ll almost certainly be checking out Crossfaith on the Jagermeister stage as they warm the crowd up for Don Broco and Enter Shikari.
Take a gander at the full size poster (click the thumbnail to the side to see it in all its glory) to see the full line-up. For the asking price of £44, it’s a flipping bargain. Given that some bands are charging more than that for a 3-4 hour gig with three bands on the bill, it’s incredible value for money.
You can pick them up from several places, but Lunatickets seems to be the only place with tickets for both Leeds and Birmingham available, going by the info on the festival’s website. Like we said… don’t leave it till the last minute or you’re very likely to be disappointed!
