With the roaring success of the first ever Metal 2 The Masses Coventry which saw winners Pelugion and runners up Abandoned Life going through to the Semi Finals (full review by Topher now online), Heat 2 in now less than a week away. The second heat will again take place on February 2nd at The Arches Venue, Coventry.
With the continued support between the venues and promoters involved in Metal 2 The Masses, 2017 looks to be the biggest year in M2tM history with not only the already established regions but so many new territories at home and abroad.
The bands performing at Coventry’s second Metal 2 The Masses heat are yet again a diverse bunch:
Puma XIII, a three-piece rock band from Nuneaton who mix classic and contemporary guitar sounds.
Temple Black from Coventry are alt-rock that blurs the lines between sub-genres in rock and metal.
Barbikan are a heavy metal band with power metal influences from Coventry.
Koncept, from Tamworth deliver melodic harmonies, dirty basslines & in your face guitar riffs.
With everything to gain and nothing to lose, these four bands, will be giving everything they have to secure not only the main prize of playing the UK’s number one Metal Festival Bloodstock Open Air, but also a whole host of other guaranteed gigs and prizes.
These prizes include recording and merch discounts, a host of guaranteed gigs, a photoshoot, studio recording time, PR and booking agent representation to name but a few.
