Hair Metal Heaven announced Saturday headliner (and more!)

Hull’s cracking “Hair Metal Heaven” event was announced a couple of weeks ago and already they’re confirming more bands for the bill.

Headlining on the Saturday night will be legends Tony Harnell, Ronnie Le Tekro and Diesel Dahl… TNT.

2017 will be a big year for the band as they release a brand new album and celebrate the 30th anniversary of Tell No Tales. TNT will perform all their hits and possibly a few new tunes from their soon to be released new record at Hair Metal Heaven!

Also announced to play over the long weekend of 25th-27th August are Bigfoot from Wigan. Formed in spring of 2014 Bigfoot consists of members from various bands from the local scene combining powerful vocals, dual lead guitars and a heavy driving rhythm section. With influences stemming from many different genres from The Eagles to Pantera this is a band that can be appreciated and enjoyed by a wide range of music fans.

Next up – New York’s Killcode. Killcode have built up a massive fanbase in the New York area and having recently played festivals with Kiss and Twisted Sister in Mexico, France and Germany they are coming to the UK to spread the sound of Code!

One of the best new melodic rock bands to hit the scene in a long time – Eclipse from Sweden have been added to the list.

Another classic act, stretching back to the 80’s, Circus of Power will be showing the youngsters how it’s done.

In addition to the above, Hull will also play host to stalwarts Wildside and the legendary Vain.

Previously announced were DAD, Spread Eagle, Smashed Gladys, Princess Pang, Leatherwolf, Diemonds and Treat.

This looks like being a fantastic event. The venues listed are O’Riley’s on August 25th and Hull City Hall on the 26th and 27th. There will also be a Hair Metal Heaven Hall of Fame, VIP Market and VIP after-show lounge.

VIP tickets went on sale on January 4th and further details are available on the facebook event page.
