After announcing Autopsy’s return to Scotland for the first time in 27 years, Glasgow’s Lords of the Land festival has just dropped two more ridiculously heavy bombshells:
Marduk will be performing a UK exclusive 20th Anniversary set of Heaven Shall Burn. The band will only perform this show/set eight times in 2017 around the world and flying in exclusively to perform the only UK performance LotL!
Primordial have agreed to play only their third Scottish performance, following the last Glasgow show selling out in advance and destroying Damnation in the process.
There are still more bands to be announced – a special guest who will be just under Autopsy on the bill, and five more to fill up a hectic day on April 1st.
Oh, and block out March 31st and April 2nd as well. Remember those pre/post shows at Audio last year around the main event at Barrowlands? It looks like they’re being extended to full-dayers as well…
Tickets are already on sale from the usual places, though the first batch have sold out. More will go up soon, if they’re not available already and are priced at £38. No confirmation of venue as yet, though wherever it is the doors apparently open at 1pm!
