Once again at The Dome and Boston Music Rooms, Tufnell Park, with the festival’s famed incredible atmosphere, Live Evil London will be taking place from October 7th to 9th.
Live Evil is proud to welcome NWOBHM-era punk metallers Girlschool to headline the Saturday night. Formed in 1978, the band swiftly made a name for themselves with blistering albums and singles after signing to Bronze Records. Numerous and varied collaborations with Motorhead following the Overkill Tour in 1979 included playing Top of the Tops together has Headgirl in 1981 for the number 5 ‘Please Don’t Touch’ single. Never altering course, the ladies are formidable live approaching 40 years in.
Sunday night promises another legendary finale as the pioneering and much loved American doom rockers Pentagram take the stage to crush the crowd. Unbelievably formed originally way back in December 1971, Bobby Leibling and mid-80s era riff-master Victor Griffin have in recent years finally been rewarded with success helped by their exceptional song-writing and always killer performances. Their recent show at Roadburn 2016 showed they are still one of the best live bands in the world. Be Forewarned!
Other bands announced so far are Demon, Horisont, Wytch Hazel, Destroyer 666, Millenium and Black Magic. Ten more acts are still to be added.
