The love the UK has for Bowling For Soup has been very well documented over the years and it just seems that absence has made the hearts of the British BFS Army grow fonder! The news that Bowling For Soup would be returning to the UK saw a public explosion of goodwill for the band from numerous sources. National newspapers such as The Independent and The Evening Standard reported the announcement of the tour, and “Bowling For Soup” was trending on Twitter in the UK within hours of the announcement. It reached number two in Kerrang Magazine’s “Top 10 Hottest” on the Kerrang website and even major brands such as airline Ryanair and bookmakers Paddypower were celebrating the news through their social media accounts.

To further promote and celebrate the tour, Bowling For Soup have put together this commercial. Some of you may have seen it aired on the big screens at Download between bands. Filmed in the typical BFS tongue in cheek style, it’s a sixty second reminder as to why they’ve been missed so much and why their UK return is being so widely celebrated.

Bowling For Soup’s bassist Erik Chandler has also been giving his thoughts about the reaction to the tour news:

We have been overwhelmed by the amazing reaction we have received from our fans after announcing the How About Another Round Tour. It only solidifies for us that fact that the time is absolutely perfect for us to make our return to the UK. We’re looking forward to making this the most monumental BFS tour that The UK has ever seen.

Anyone who missed the initial announcement of the tour a couple of weeks ago, fear not; The details are all here for you to enjoy. Bowling For Soup’s UK return trek has been dubbed the “How About Another Round” tour and will take place across the first half of February 2016, taking in Scotland, Wales and the full length of England.

These guys make me smile with every song they write. But come on, how many of their fans can afford to travel to the US or the UK for a single show. That sucks.
