Bringing a lot of symbolism and intensity, the new track is inspired by the last letter of the Greek alphabet.
The Darkness Foundation, a project featuring Jairo Guedz (guitar, bass, and acoustic guitar), Fábio Andrey (vocals, guitar, bass, and programming/samplers), and Chris Salles (drums and percussion), has released its fourth single, “Omega.” Filled with symbolism and intensity, the new track is inspired by the last letter of the Greek alphabet. “The song addresses the concept of endings, closure, and the final collapse. ‘Omega’ represents the metaphor for the change of cycles and even the end of times,” explains Chris Salles.
Known for their provocative music with messages from a new existential perspective, Jairo Guedz and Chris Salles created The Darkness Foundation to produce heavy music under a dark, dense, and melancholic aura. With a heavy electronic background, they incorporate piano, samplers, and synthesizers, drawing inspiration from names like The Sisters of Mercy, The Mission, Moonspell, David Bowie, and Depeche Mode.
“Omega” blends elements of metal, dark, and electronic music with apocalyptic tones, leading the listener on a sonic journey that reflects the chaos and despair of a world on the brink of collapse.
