Khors just released the lyrics video for their new song “Extinct Candles of Dead Cities“. It is extracted from their upcoming album Letters to the Future Self which will be released on the French label Drakkar Productions later this year. The date is not specified yet.
As they are from, and still living, in Ukraine, this new album comes in the special context we all know. The band states:
Each of us has a city that is forever etched in our hearts by memories, events and people. It is very painful when this city is destroyed, erased and mutilated. And despite this, this city continues to live in you, warms and inspires with memories.
This will speak volumes to their compatriotes as well as to people who visited and cherished these cities. The first single they released earlier this year, “Perseverance is the Essence (Forever 25)”, also has a strong background as it’s dedicated to Heorii Tarasenko, a young commander who gave his life defending the Kharkiv region, the native region of Khors and many other great bands.
