Following the release of highly praised mini-album Elements I [our review here – Mosh] last year, A Ritual Spirit will put out stand-alone single “Revolutionary” on Friday 6th October 2023 produced by Jamie Gilchrist (King Witch), followed a week later by a video for the track directed by ex-Exploited guitarist Robbie Davidson. “Revolutionary” explores the notion of a post-apocalyptic wasteland of the mind and preaches triumph over adversity in the form of battling the inner demons that can plague us all.
The single will bridge the gap between Elements I and the highly anticipated second instalment Elements II which the band began recording in August with their long-time producer Bryan Ramage (Ramage Inc.). The Edinburgh four-piece defy genres but if you like your rock, metal and grunge they’ll likely have something for you to dig your teeth into! With performances at Bloodstock, Wildfire, Breaking Bands and numerous other festivals under their belts A Ritual Spirit are hungry for more and it shows!
