‘Welcome Metal’ is the mobile app that will connect metal fans with metal bands. Its aim is to make life easier for bands while on tour and more exciting for fans, to bring the comforts of the digital world into the Metal scene. What does this mean? Metal Fans will be able to submit services like a place to sleep, cook a vegan meal, a metal bbq, or go to museums and long etc, and bands on tour will be able to search for them, choose what they need, and connect. Crazy right?

With Crisix we have been touring a lot all over the world. I’ve been thinking about how is it possible nowadays to order someone to bring you a hot burger almost anywhere in the world, and how damn difficult it is for bands to find specific help when they are touring and they face issues. It was urgently needed to create a place where Metal Fans can get closer to Metal Artists and help solve daily problems like finding a place to sleep or eat, a mechanic, do a bbq, go climbing or swimming, go to museums, or just visit best metal party places in town. The main idea is to bring what apps like ‘Couchsurfing’ deliver, but inside the Metal Community, and not just for sleeping purposes, but for many other experiences and things that fans and artists can enjoy together. We all know regular social media like Instagram or Facebook but they are too scattered and don’t allow you to reach that level of geolocalization we bands need while on tour.

What does this app need from you? It needs YOU to register in it, it needs you to create a Fan or Artist profile and MOST IMPORTANT it needs you to think and be creative, imagine your favorite band is in your town, what could you do for them that you do good? Hold on a second….YES, that exact thing is what we want you to upload!
Are you a good chiropractor? You don’t have a clue how many times bands needed that during long tours.
Do you have a big laundry machine and also you serve great tea? You don’t imagine how many bands would die for that.
Are you a mechanic? Your skills and services will most definitely be needed by some band stuck on the road somewhere near you.
You have a house with a pool and bbq and you would love to invite your favorite band? Good news, your favorite band would love that too!
