In tandem with the release, featured artists, Escape The Fate releases the lyric video for the original tune, “Christmas Song”. The band members were excited to record this original pop-punk-inspired Christmas song.. Escape The Fate are masters of creating memorable melodies, catchy tunes, and impressive guitar work as evidenced in their recently released song “Invincible” (feat Lindsey Stirling). For “Christmas Song”, lead guitarist Kevin “Thrasher” Gruft unleashes a ripping guitar solo breaking up the infectious choruses.
Better Noise Music’s break-out star of 2020, Cory Marks contributes an electrifying, country-rock cover of The Tractors’ 90’s hit “Jingle My Bells”. Produced by Kevin Churko, Marks’ rendition has the rowdy feel of the original but kicks it up a notch with a supercharged tempo. “I thought it would make a good ol’ Country Rockin’ Christmas song and Kevin thought it was right up my alley. I’ve always loved Christmas and I want people to feel good and ready for the holiday season. I think that’s exactly what this song does,” Marks says of the project, “I’m honored to be on Better Noise Music’s first Christmas compilation. Merry Christmas everyone!”
Eva Under Fire’s powerful vocalist, Amanda Lyberg takes on the Christmas classic “The First Noel” and belts out the lyrics with modern edge. “I was in theater as a kid and I sang The First Noel. When the label asked us for a Christmas song, I was excited at the chance to sing this one again. It’s such a pretty song and the nostalgia makes me smile”. Newest signing The Funeral Portrait put a completely new and unique spin on the classic carol, “In the Bleak Midwinter. Widely recognized for being a slow ballad performed by choirs, The Funeral Portrait have created an energetic, upbeat, pop-punk version.
Last, but surely not least, is Little Stranger’s original soon-to-be classic “Christmas Jawn”. Their quirky indie hip hop, loose reggae sound, makes for a super unique, fun sound with all the strangeness implied by their name. “We saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus and we’re totally cool with it. He’s actually a pretty rad guy. And that inspired us to write the first anti-Easter Bunny/Pro-Santa holiday song. It’s the 100% true story of one crazy night with the original badass, Santa “Kristopher Kringle” Claus. So grab your milk and cookies and roll one up for Rudolph. It’s a Christmas Jawn.”
