Jordan Red premiering video to fundraise for non-profit HeartSupport next week

Jordan Red (a Band of the Day back in March) is releasing their third single, “Hands That Built The World” on 14th August 2020 and will be fundraising for HeartSupport, a non-profit mental health charity via Facebook premiere on 12th August at 4pm (BST). You can pre-save the single on streaming sites now as well.

The song is about mental health and depression, and I can’t put in the words better than the guitarist Dan Baker himself, who has this to say about the song:

We wrote this for everyone out there that feels beaten and broken down by the world. ‘Hands That Built The World’ was written during what seemed like an endless struggle with depression. Ultimately, this is a song about survival. It’s about acting with strength when you feel weak and finding power when you’re powerless. When the walls around you feel like they’re closing in, you need to have the belief that you can fight your way out.

Additionally, the song is once again mixed and mastered by Romesh Dodangoda, who has worked with Bring Me The Horizon, Bullet For My Valentine, Don Broco, and many others, and has ‘eye-catching’ artwork by Elisa Schillaci, who has worked with Alter Bridge & Perfect Circle. Two members of As Lions – Conor O’Keefe & Dave Fee also perform on this record.
