Very sad news as we report on the passing of a genuine guitar legend. Tormé was admitted to hospital a couple of weeks ago suffering from acute pneumonia in both lungs and had been on life support for a while. His family confirmed that he passed away yesterday. Today would have been his 67th birthday.
Tormé played with the liked of Dee Snider, Ian Gillan and Ozzy Osbourne (the latter after the tragic death of Randy Rhoads). He was touring right up until recently with his own band, continuing to rock packed venues night after night. He leaves a hell of a legacy of great music.
