Skypilot are pleased to announce they’ll be going into Bearcat studios over the first 2 weekends in March to record their second full-length album, entitled The Affront. The album will consist of eight riff-laden, big grooving, stoner-prog-metal tunes and they can’t wait for everyone to hear what they’ve been up to.
The Affront is scheduled for a mid-May release and will be followed by a Belfast launch show and a short run of UK dates to support the album in May and June. In addition, Skypilot will make their Siege of Limerick debut in advance of this on Sunday 21st April in Dolans Warehouse so be sure to check them out and see what’s in store! The band will be announcing all tour dates in the coming weeks so check back often and keep an eye on our YouTube channel for video updates and info.

Working on these songs has taken us down a road we haven’t travelled for some time. We’re excited to be able to bring Skypilot’s music to a wider audience in 2019.
The album is slated for a mid-May release and will be preceded by a single with an accompanying video. As well as being available on CD, the album will be released on all digital formats, to include Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, GooglePlay, Deezer and many others.
