An Andrew W.K. song, a speeding ticket, a friendly warning and a happy ending (not that kind…)

I just happened across the following thread / conversation on my Twitter feed. Credit must go to Luke Mitchell, Andrew W.K., Thames Valley Police, Daniel P Carter and MyTicketUK for giving me a little smile before bedtime last night!

Long story short… Mr Mitchell was enjoying the new Andrew W.K. single, “Music Is Worth Living For” (scroll down for a listen), a little too much while driving earlier this week:

And yes… there is a price in this instance! But, lo! A light through yonder (expensive) window breaks!

Not only his ticket paid… but another ticket to replace it. However, credit to him, Luke didn’t take the generously offered ticket or the money:
