ILSA
Horror-obsessed, underground cult ILSA weave together tales of depravity and devil worship on their Relapse debut Corpse Fortress. Recorded by Kevin Bernsten (Full of Hell, Code Orange, Magrudergrind, Integrity) in Baltimore, MD at Developing Nations, Corpse Fortress is nine tracks forged in filth with dense layers of emotionally draining sludge, murky, primordial doom and feedback-laden, crusty death metal. Corpse Fortress is easily the rawest, most abhorrent and nasty album in ILSA’s 10-year career and the perfect soundtrack for the initiated miscreants of this rapidly dying orb.

Conviction
French doom metal band Conviction, side project of Olivier Verron aka Amduscias from Temple of Baal, announces the release of their new digital single “Outworn”.
This release is downloadable for free on Conviction’s Bandcamp. Conviction has now started to work on their first album that should be released at the end of the year. Verron says:
Those two tracks deal with time, and the damage it does to both human relationships and self esteem. I had this pure doom metal project in mind since the nineties, but couldn’t find any musicians back then so I finally decided to go for it alone, as a one-man band, first by releasing a demo in 2013.

Rotting Kingdom
Godz Ov War Productions announce a debut EP from Lexington, Kentucky based, death doom metal Rotting Kingdom for an early 2018 release. The band comprises musicians known from groups like Tombstalker, Pyromancer, Nest, and Arktos.
The contents of their first official release, simply titled Rotting Kingdom, is three tracks lasting 24 minutes in total. Music-wise, the American quintet offer a raw and majestic mixture of doom metal heaviness and gloomy melodies, with a slightly toned death metal brutality, strongly inspired by the early output of Katatonia, My Dying Bride, Evoken, Paradise Lost, Esoteric and the like.
A limited jewel case CD will be released on 15 January 2018. It can already pre-ordered at the Godz Ov War store.
