Myles Kennedy signs with Napalm Records
He is the distinctive voice of Alter Bridge. He moonlights with Guns N’ Roses icon Slash, fronting his backing band Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators. He created The Mayfield Four. He jammed with members of Led Zeppelin. He works with the best of the best and is undeniably one of the greatest rock singers of our time.
And now, following a successful partnership between Alter Bridge and Napalm Records, Myles Kennedy is pleased to reveal he has signed with the Austrian label to release his long awaited first solo album.
Myles comments:
I’m excited to announce I’m teaming up with Napalm Records for the release of my first solo record Year of the Tiger. This record is something I’ve always wanted to make and I’m grateful to Napalm for believing in me enough to get behind it.
Year Of The Tiger is scheduled for release in Spring 2018. Stay tuned for further updates.
John Steel releases new album
Bulgarian heavy metal band John Steel together with Doogie White (ex-Rainbow) have released their new album Everything or Nothing. The album was recorded/mixed by Konstantin Raidovski and mastered by Gospodin Gospodinov.
John Steel was formed in April 2007 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria by Ivan Stalev (gutar) and Jivodar Dimitrov (drums). In 2014 they released their debut album Freedom with the ex – Iron Maiden vocalist Blaze Bayley.
Tax The Heat announce new album
Nuclear Blast Entertainment are pleased to announce the release of the new album from Tax The Heat, Change Your Position, on 9th March 2018. The album will be available as CD, Digital, Limited Edition Gatefold Vinyl and Limited Edition Light Blue Vinyl.
Change Your Position is the follow up to the 2016 critically-acclaimed debut album Fed To The Lions. The new album sees the band take a huge step forward as both songwriters and performers. Their unique blend of fuzz-driven rock with a modern alternative twist has won them a legion of fans.
The driving rhythms of Jack Taylor (drums) and Antonio Angotti (bass) are overlaid with the powerful riffs of JP Jacyshyn (guitars) and distinctive melodies of Alex Veale (vocals, guitars).
RavenEye announce 2018 UK headline tour
Fresh from their stint as special guests on the recent KISS and Bush tours, appearances at Reading and Leeds festivals, and their own American headline dates, UK rock trio RavenEye are happy to announce their own headline UK tour for 2018.

Since releasing their wildly successful EP, Breaking Out, and debut album NOVA (which we reviewed when it came out), RavenEye has toured globally, supporting Slash, Deep Purple, The Darkness, KISS, Bush, Aerosmith, Chevelle and Halestorm, amongst others. The band has headlined their own tours through Europe and America as well as performing at major international rock festivals. Their incendiary live shows have captivated crowds and put them on the map as a ‘must see live’ band.
