Following CKY’s re-emergence, they have signed to Entertainment One Music (US) and Longbranch Records (Europe) with the intention to release a new full-length album this summer, their first since 2009’s Carver City.
Amidst this, the band have announced their return to US festival Vans Warped Tour, their first show with the continent-crossing circus since 2000. In addition, a comprehensive set of UK dates reaching right through this May is all booked and set to debut songs off the new album. Basically this is a very exciting time for any CKY fan.
Vocalist Chad I Ginsburg revealed his thoughts on the band’s signing:
We are thrilled to be working with one of the most progressive record labels in the music business today. CKY are looking forward to a long partnership in great music for the entire world with eOne/Long Branch!
Having been dubbed worthy of Metallica, Guns ‘n’ Roses and Deftones support slots, the shows will certainly re-energise, refresh and reinstate the band as a vital life-force within contemporary music.
