Bloodthread – Era of Corruption EP Launch Shows

Glasgow death metal act Bloodthread are launching their new EP Era of Corruption on Friday 5th May and are playing two live shows to celebrate this release. After listening to the EP, its safe to say that the new material shreds and is a massive step up from their debut EP The Tolerance is Over.

I would urge the ardent old school and new school death metal fans to come out and show their support to one of Scotland’s leading bands on the Underground.  Support bands like Bloodthread and come to their shows, buy their EP and have a good time at the below gigs in Dumfries and Glasgow.  Over to you Bloodthread….

We are proud to announce that we will be releasing our new EP Era of Corruption on Friday the 5th of May. To celebrate the release we will be playing back-to-back launch shows in The Venue in Dumfries on Friday the 5th and Ivory Blacks in Glasgow on Saturday the 6th of May. 4 years since Bloodthread’s last release, we feel we owe it to the fans and people that have supported us on our journey to have music out there that does this line up justice. We want to encapsulate the graft we’ve put in and shove it down your ears, throat, nose… wherever we can really.

We will be joined on both dates by bands that we are both friends with, and fans of; with Dog Tired and Burning the Dream playing both shows, Seek Solace in Ruin in Dumfries and Satiracy in Glasgow. We absolutely cannot wait for these shows. Let’s pack them out and let the corruption begin!
