Ryan’s sophomore album – the first under the the new band name of Ryan Hamilton and the Traitors – is due out in the near future. They’ve only just finished recording it, with the mixing and mastering to follow before this Pledge Campaign is fulfilled with album (and bonus EP) wonderfulness.
However, one thing the album is missing is artwork. Ryan’s done a lot of his own art in the past including posters for each of his recent UK dates. This time, though, he wants to give someone else the chance to get their work out to the public and is calling out to other artists to do the cover for him.
Ryan being Ryan, this isn’t a “do it for free” thing – he is offering payment as well as the chance to get your work splurged on the sleeve of what is promising to be a great album. The design brief is:
We want an illustration/drawing of the devil getting punched in the face. Nothing too evil…. It can be fun and/or cartoony. Something from the neck up, with the arm/fist coming in from the side.
His example images are attached below to give you an idea of what he’s after – only with the devil taking a nice smack rather than a regular human being.
