Powerwolf to release live DVD this summer

Powerwolf - The Metal Mass LivePowerwolf are a massive force on the continent, having managed to breach the top 3 (three!) of the German charts, and play slews of sold-out shows. They recently released a couple of box sets with their entire album history contained within as well as a new album last year and now plan to follow it up with their first DVD.

The Metal Mass Live is due out on July 29th from Napalm and you can pre-order it now in a multitude of different versions.

Of course Powerwolf do it again in style and have assembled a truely opulent package for their loyal fans. The Metal Mass Live contains three complete live shows with which you can enjoy the irresistible hooklines and great metal hymns of Powerwolf with live recordings from the Masters Of Rock, the Summer Breeze and the Oberhausen gig from the Wolfsnächte tour. Apart from that all the previous videoclips and two documentaries are included – fans will surely appreciate to witness the hilariously maverick sense of humor of the band members.

On top, The Metal Mass Live will be presented in a beautiful valuable packaging that will make collectors’ hearts beat faster: With about 7 hours material, the first dvd / blu-ray release of one of the most successful German metal bands will be coming out as Mediabook with 2-DVD / Blu-ray + Live-CD, Earbook with 2-DVD und 2 Live-CDs, a live CD and as Gatefold-Double-Vinyl.

So now the only thing we have to hope for from the band is a proper UK tour so I can actually see them live!
