Diamond Days are a bunch of bouncy pop-punkers from NW England. We quite liked their EP which came out last year, and they’re close to releasing a new song for your delight, delectation and download!
Entitled “Love Struck Kids”, the song will be out on the 21st of August in all the usual places and we’ll almost certainly have a stream of it on here once we’re allowed!
It’s not from the EP, but it fits in perfectly with the songs which are on there being high-tempo, easy to sing to and the kind of thing you wish had come out when it was still sunny so you could blast it from the car. Hey, maybe it’s sunny where you are. I live in Glasgow.
Anyway, it’s a toe-tapper with a great chorus. There’s a nice break in the middle to add some emotional weight to the track as well. In short, it’s a great song from a band with a whole metric ton of promise who you really should check out if you’re remotely into the pop/punk genre. You will not be disappointed.
In addition, the band have recorded a video for the EP track “I Rewind” featuring Harry Radford of Yashin on vocals. This video will be released on Vevo on September 11th and released as a single on iTunes on the 25th of the month.
As ever, we’ll shove that out over social media as soon as we get a link to it! You can check out the “making of” below.
Oh, and just to round things out the guys have a headlining live date at the Garage in London on September 23rd.
