Barely in existence for 18 months, Melbourne alt-punk five piece Inventions have been impressively kicking goal after goal as a result of their tireless work ethic. Since the recent release of their self titled EP, produced by Dave Petrovich (Tonight Alive), the band have toured nationally on top of a busy local schedule that culminated in a cracker show with rock luminaries Violent Soho.
Following on from debut single “Shadows” which not only introduced the band to capital city audiences but hit radio from Broome to Dalby and everywhere in-between, the release now kicks up a gear spearheaded by “Straight”, a perfect guitar driven example of their deftly crafted sonic aesthetic.
Pre-production is underway for a debut full length at Inventions Studios, a recording facility come crash pad owned and operated by the band themselves.
