Sebastian Bach, the Canadian singer, and songwriter who achieved success as the frontman of heavy metal band Skid Row is back on the road again.
Now 53, Bach who has since embarked on a solo career and also turned to acting appearing in film and television in shows such as Trailer Park Boys and Gilmore Girls has recently begun a three month US tour, timed to mark the 30th anniversary of Sleeve to the Grind, which many critics rate as the seminal work of his former band.
People are beginning to attend live events once more after the restrictions of the past 21 month or so, a period in which hundreds of thousands turned to online casinos as a source of entertainment and a way of relieving anxiety and stress. For those interested in some of the latest promotions and bonuses on offer, Playstival.ie Irish casino guide listed here is a useful starting point.
Bach had been outspoken on social media about his desire to get back touring again, especially after the confines of lockdown. And with a social media following of more than half a million, he realised he had a unique opportunity to get his message across.
A ken follower of current affairs, he has been following the Covid pandemic closely, and believes e that people should be listening to the advice given by doctors and other medical experts.
That is why he has temporarily suspended meet and greets with his fans, and why he is ready to don a face mask at every opportunity.
What Bach does not understand are those people who refuse to get vaccinated, arguing that there is no difference between this and getting a jab for an everyday disease. And that is not even considering the conspiracy theories advocated by some of them.
He also has no time for those right-wing musicians and concert goers who lay the blame for America’s Covid woes at the door of President Joe Biden. In fact, he credits Biden with having nothing but the best intentions for America and he believes he is trying his utmost to get things back to normal again.
For him the blame for the health crisis that the country has faced in the wake of the global health crisis lies firmly at the door of his predecessor Donald Trump. His administration was slow to react when the evidence was mounting in the form of rowing case numbers and deaths, whilst Trump’s won pet remedies, such as drinking bleach to combat the disease, were not just eccentric but were actually dangerous to public health.
Aware that his attitude means he is labelled by some as a self-righteous liberal, Bach is relaxed about it to the point that he says that he does not care if some of his right-wing critics never listen to a Skid Row album ever again.
He has already earned the royalties from it.so if they want to use the album as a paperweight, they are free to so as far as he is concerned.
