We’ve been following Kim Jennett’s career for a number of years and last week, she released the excellent new single “Hell is Wherever You Are” (video to follow shortly).
So it’s only right we finally sit down and chat virtually over Zoom, and after a quick chat about Maid of Stone a couple of months ago and how I’ve seen her a bunch but never actually met her, we get down to business.
We discuss how the new song came together as well as the reception to it (including my review bringing a tear to her eye!), her past work with Myke Gray, collaborations with Krissy Matthews, her appearance on The Voice during lockdown, future plans – including a couple of exclusives, and courgettes.
