Edinburgh based extreme metal band Extort will be releasing their debut EP entitled Reset on May 1st. It contains five tracks of death, black and thrash metal with traditional heavy metal riffs thrown into the mix. The band see this EP as the closure of chapter one of this era of the band and already have a number of tunes to be recorded for their next release.
Extort have created a name for themselves on the live circuit and seem to play every extreme metal show on the go at the moment, culminating in setting up gigs in Edinburgh and Glasgow for Ukranian charities.
Big things have already been planned for the band for 2023 and Reset will be played on Moshville Radio for some time to come. Find out how Extort have “ruined death metal” (and more) in the interview below…
