Hot on the heels of Rick reviewing the single “House on the Hill” by early Black Sabbath, Trouble, and Church of Misery influenced The Miser, Dan Carter of DC Sound Attack reached out to me asking if I would like to have a chat with the band.
Now, we all know that Dan is a good-looking guy but it was the 70s infused rock of The Miser that really made me want to talk to them, especially when “House on the Hill” is such a banging tune. For us old ones, wherever our influences have taken us, we cannot deny where they began and what The Misery do is remind us where it all began. It was therefore an honour to have a chat with The Miser and I urge you to check out the single as well as the EP Memento Mori when it comes out on February 3rd.
