Ash from Enso Music Management reached out to me about talking to Leader of Down and there was no way I was going to refuse this invitation. Being no strangers to Moshville Times’ pages, Leader of Down continue to pay homage to the great Wurzel of Motorhead who, along with bassist Tim Atkinson, formed the band and have recently released their second album The Screwtape Letters.
There have already been video singles, with the latest being an old rocker “Cat’s Eye Night”. It makes you reminisce about why you got into heavy metal in the first place. Displaying obvious influence from Motorhead, Judas Priest and classic British heavy metal as a whole, Leader of Down are surely onto big things with this album.
