Manchester-based melodic deathcore band Portrayal of Ruinn have been in existence for a few years now and have already released a single and a self titled EP towards the end of 2019.

Like every other band, they were on the crest of a wave and had numerous things planned and in motion… and I am sure I do not need to tell you what happened after this. Rather than stop the band in its tracks, Portrayal of Ruinn have been busy writing and have mentioned that they have not one but two further EP’s due before the end of the year.
After witnessing them live for the first time on a 0161 Manchester live stream, I am eagerly awaiting to hear what they have in store for us. This was a prime opportunity to catch up with vocalist Calvin and twin guitarists Tom and Sean, and discuss all things Portrayal of Ruinn – such as how they plan to stay in your face for some time yet!
