Another one that’s already on the site and pre-transcribed, but here’s the recording for the completists out there.
This interview sticks out in my mind for a couple of reasons. One is that Dave was incredibly nice. He was late for the interview for some reason and insisted in buying me a beer to make up.
Apologies for the sound in the first two minutes or so. I think they were putting up scaffolding or something in the venue, but it dies down after a while (as did our headache…)
As you can hear, it’s around the Play Games era – in fact July 16th 1997. The venue was the old Rios in Bradford which I believe is now a textiles store.
