Combining the love of horror and schlock thrown up by the likes of Wednesday 13 and Ice Nine Kills with some nice hard rock tuneage, Blood Opera will soon (Feb 24th) release Songs in the Key of Death. The album features fourteen tracks, some of which feature guest appearances not just by other musicians, but horror film household names (Linnea Quigley and Tony Todd to name but two).
In the runup they’ve dropped this quality cover, the theme song from 1988’s wonderful cheese-fest Killer Klowns from Outer Space. The song has had a great makeover, and undeniably sounds even better produced than the original!
If you like what you hear, then the rest of the album is as much of a blast and you can pre-order it from their Bandcamp page.
