Last year there were roughly 832 cover versions of Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill”, so many that we didn’t bother picking any of them as there were too many good ones! Fortunately, Jessie Kilguss has kicked off our 2023 with a cover of a different Kate Bush track.
Engineered, produced, mixed and mastered by Charlie Nieland (Debbie Harry, Rufus Wainwright, Blondie, Scissor Sisters), Kilguss (vocals and harmonium) is accompanied by Nieland on glockenspiel and stellar guitarist Andrea Longato, who has collaborated with Duncan Shiek, Jeremy Jordan, Alphonso Ribeiro, Tony Vincent (The Voice) and Justin Guarini (American Idol).
