This is a bit of an oldie, coming as it does from a 2008 album, but it just happened to fly by on a random shuffle play and I realised that we’d not featured it before. We frequently publish rock / metal bands covering other genres, but only very rarely flipping the tables.
In this case country legend Glen Campbell covers pop-punkers Green Day, from his Meet Glen Campbell album. He also recorded his own versions of songs by Foo Fighters, U2, Travis and others but this one’s probably the best.
